The Story of Loveland Hall
Loveland Hall is a place where history and celebration come together. Originally established as the Sandown Masonic Centre, and still very active in this capacity, it has long been a cornerstone of community life on the Isle of Wight. The venue takes its name from the very first master of the lodge, Richard Loveland, a Provincial Grand Master of Master Masons of Hampshire & Isle of Wight 1901-1913, and a a Deputy Grand Master Mason of England 1913-1920. With ‘Love’ in his name, It seemed only fitting to name a potential wedding venue after him.
In recent years, the hall has been lovingly transformed into a beautiful, multi-purpose venue—perfect for weddings, events, and unforgettable moments.
